I'm currently starting training for a triathlon next year. It is about a year away and I really want to do it. Since I haven't been losing weight lately, I've decided to give myself a new challenge in order to lose the weight and get even healthier.
Okay, so this triathlon is a .5 mile swim, 19 mi bike, and 3.1 mi run. I can definitely do the run. But the swimming and biking, not so much.
I went to Henry's yesterday and was testing out bikes and everything and I have one on reserve, I'm just waiting for my finaid to go through for school so that I have to spare cash. I really want to do this and I've been practicing HOW to swim because, I'm almost 19 and I can't even swim. But I'm learning and I've gotten so much better.
I can't wait to start!
Today I went for my normal distance run which is roughly 3 miles, but I'm trying very hard to increase my speed, which I was very successful with today.
Also, my semi-vegetarian-ness is going very well! I eat only fish because it is good for me and I love it. So that's that.
I don't know if anyone cares, but I'll keep you all updated.
Exactly one year from now, I'm going to be lean and fit and ready to fucking race.
I'm going to jump rope now!
